Can you believe it is mid November? My how time flies, before we know it the holidays will be here. I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is this week. I’m sad I won’t be able to go to my parents. I am looking forward to enjoying it with my hubby, children and friends. Last week I didn’t get a lot of sewing done. I was able to baste a few quilts.
Most of my time was spent getting ready for the holiday boutique I do each year. My gift samplers are a big seller. I have them in a three and six pack size. I have a few made up for display and for people to buy. Mostly though they like to create their own. In addition to the soap I include a description of the soap and the care that goes into making it. A lovely suggestion form Lea Anne, one of my best customers. I have them available in my Etsy shop if you are looking for a fun gift idea. Everyone uses soap. wink wink. There perfect as hostess gifts, office exchanges, and just to pamper yourself.
So now that you know what I’ve been up to. I’d love to hear how your projects are progressing for the holidays.
Link up and show us your progress.
I can't believe how quickly the year has gone. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I like the ideas of the samplers. I like to buy hand crafted soap to support local artisans and on vacations to remember where we were — until I use it up!
I wish you much success with your soaps. I am making a quilt like that too, and will get back to it when I am finished binding mine. All of the projects in this linkup are so inspiring. I went ahead and added my link even though it doesn't compare.
Oh, I really like the mix of neutral crumb piecing with the bright strips. Can't WAIT to see more of this quilt!
