A couple of months ago I pulled out my orphan bin ready to make another Plan B quilt. There were a ton of half square triangles in there so I started by pulling them all out.
Next I grouped them and sewed them together. It was a ton of fun. There are just so many possibilities when you are playing with hsts.
Then I added a few orphan blocks. My favorite is this 3D fish. I added a few strips here and there to make everything fit together. After sandwiching and basting I quilted with an all over stipple
Finally I added a fun, scrappy, blue and green binding to complete my Plan B Half Squared Quilt.
I’m thrilled all these orphans play so nicely together in their new home. Linking up with Sarah, Amanda Jean, and Cynthia to celebrate.
That turned out so great – love all the colors in it!
Love It! 🙂

Hey, that's cool! I've been stashing bonus HSTs in shoeboxes, and look forward to having fun like this some day. Love how yours turned out.
