Yo yos are great scrap busters. They are easy to make. Plus there are tons of fun uses for them.

I like to use them to embellish my quilts. They make the cutest little centers for a flower. Like in the mini quilt above or Mary’s Garden. I also used them to cover up the fact that my seams didn’t match up in this quilt.

These cute flowers are another great use. I found this on Pinterest It’s got my creative juices flowing. While this is a wall hanging, I think it would make a great journal cover. You know I love me a good journal. So I see a new one in the future.

How cute is this yo yo wreath? Another great Pinterest find. They used a styrofoam wreath form and hot glue, plus a bunch of yo yos. You could easily make it to fit various holidays.

These owls just make me smile. I think they would make a great gift for my friend Ruth. She’s an avid bird watcher. One of these hanging from her rear view mirror would be fun. I just might need to get the pattern and make her one.
