Quilts for Spring

The days are getting warmer and spring is in the air.  Let’s celebrate with these quilts for spring.

Spring Flowers

Blooms and Baskets featured above celebrates spring with pots and vases full of colorful blooms.  Dive into your spring colored scrap bins and enjoy creating patchwork flowers in a happy sampler quilt.  The pattern is available through my membership.

As is Fairy Garden.  Another great spring quilt.  This quilt includes the birds and bees that return each spring.  In addition it has colorful butterflies as well as dragonflies.

If you are looking for a simpler quilt, but still love flowers.  You might like to try Posy Parade. This fat quarter friendly quilt is a quick make.  It also makes the perfect baby girl  or child’s quilt.

Maybe butterflies make you think of spring.  I used the Accuquilt Go to cut scraps for this butterfly quilt Shelly made for Quilty Hugs.   Or this crumb butterfly quilt that uses AccuQuilt’s butterfly die and my $2 pattern.

Maybe you’d like to go on a spring picnic?  Then try Picnic in the Park.  It combines flying geese and the rail fence block.  Plus those prairie points are like little sprouts.

Spring Colors

Maybe you just want to play with spring colors.  If that is the case then try Confetti.  It whips up fast with the AccuQuilt go and is a great way to use up your pastel scraps.  Click for a FREE tutorial.  Treasures is scrap friendly or if you have a spring themed layer cake or charm packs.  They will be perfect for this quilt pattern.

Bear scraps is another scrap quilt that looks great in spring colors.  It can be cut traditionally or with the AccuQuilt Go.  And is great for scraps from teeny tiny to bigger chunks.

Have fun busting your scraps with these quits for spring.
