Yesterday was a first Tuesday so me and my angels got together for a little Quilty Hug sewing. I had four project boxes with pre-cut pieces in various stages of completeness. Shelly chose the scrappy log cabin and added a few more blocks.
Marilyn wanted a little mindless sewing and chose these simple four patches.
I chose these blocks. I would have got a lot more done if I hadn’t spent so much time sewing without bobbin thread. GRRR!!!! I was chaining these cuties and did a whole run without bobbin thread. Will I ever learn.
Sue and Ruthie had other obligations and couldn’t make it. I’m looking forward to next month I think with all these building blocks we should be able to put a couple of tops together.
Ha! Sewing without bobbin thread? I thought I only did that. Nice blocks though.
A lot of great blocks! Yes, bobbin thread makes your sewing much more productive.
I love your scrappy log cabin. The blocks in the last picture are really different. Could you share the directions for the block. Hugs
wow! how fun! love sewing with friends!

I laughed way too hard about your bobbin thread. I did the very same this past weekend. I couldn't believe I had sewn such a huge pile without noticing! 🙂
I have sewn without bobbin thread more times than I would want to admit. I hope we see what the last set of blocks will become.
Love the scrappy log cabin! Can't go wrong with those!
hahaha this happens to me all too frequently…hugs, Julierose
How nice to get together for some sewing!
