Curves can scare quilters.  Don’t let that fear keep you from using them.  This easy method will have you adding some sweet curves to your quilty creations.

The first step is to use my perfect circle applique tutorial.  Then let the fun begin by cutting those appliqued circles.

By cutting them in half you can create something like my Clam Shells pattern.

Quartering them you can make a fun drunkard’s path border along with the leaves in my Devine pattern.

Or create some waves like I did in my Sailing block and the great baby boy quilt that I used it in.

So let the fear go and let the fun begin.  Show off your curves.  If  you make some let me know.  Link them up in our next Moving it Forward link up, show them off on Instagram an tag me so I get to see @emsscrapbag.  Also if you would like a more hands on approach to this method, contact me.  I’d love to help you  and your quilty friends learn this skill and improve your quilting abilities.  Hurry though my 2020 schedule is filling up.
