You might remember I hurried to finish this top for a class I was teaching. I hurt my back and was not able to get it quilted for the class. I will be teaching the class again, this time at Elaine’s Quilt Block. They have my original quilt on display but I thought it would be fun to bring an alternate colorway.
So yesterday I got busy and quilted it with dogwood flowers. I like the way it fills in the background with a similar motif as the blocks.
The weather was not working with me. Dazzle had to provide it’s own sunshine. I think she did a pretty good job.
If you are needing to create a little sunshine of your own the pattern can be found here. Linking up with Sarah and Amanda to celebrate this finish.
Love the quilt.
What a pretty quilt! It certainly has a Spring vibe about it!
This is a lovely piece–so colorful–will definitely brighten up the day (raining hard and gray here AGAIN!!) hugs, Julierose
It does shine on its own. I love the quilting you did on it too.
I like it!
How pretty and fun!
