One of my favorite things to do as a designer is to play with various quilt blocks and units to see what I can create. The half square triangle is one of my favorite units to play with. I recently created a video to show you my favorite method for making these little gems.
By playing with color placement you can create all kinds of designs. My Sunshine on a Cloudy Day is a result of this kind of play.
By putting them on point and changing up sizes I came up with Mountain Retreat.
