I’m so excited to see everyone’s Medallion Quilts. I hope you have had as much fun as I have making yours.
I even had fun choosing different quilting motifs for each border. Usually I dread this part of my quilt journey.
I quilted leaves, flowers, loops, swirls and stippling. Each border has a different motif.
Next I pulled out some wide strips from my scrap bins and made a scrappy binding. You can find a tutorial for my method here.
I truly enjoyed designing this quilt and sharing it with you. Figuring out different borders and how to arrange them. If you are late to the game. You can still create your own medallion quilt find the different tutorials here.
love your finish. I must put that on my one day list but I have way too many tops started and haven't felt like finishing lately – I must get my act together and get one done.
Love your medallion quilt! Looks like a happy quilt.
Your medallion turned out beautifully! The part with quilt making I dread the most is making the backing–for some unknown reason…

Love your Medallion quilt. Fantastic finish right down to the quilting and fun scrappy border!
This one is still on my list to do. I was just too busy to join in on the fun!
