A while back I found a fun camping print that had oranges, blues, greens and browns. My mind said those colors would make a great quilt. So I started pulling from my scrap bins using this easy fabric selection trick. This half square triangle quilt set on point was the result.
It is another version of my Mountain Retreat quilt. I think those half square triangles make a lovely mountain range. Don’t you?
It reminds me of camping and hiking with my sons. Enjoying the great outdoors and all it’s beauty. It is a masculine looking quilt that still allows me to use a lot of color. That doesn’t happen very often.
