Moving It Forward

I hope everyone had a wonderful fist week of the new year!  I can definitely tell it’s January.  It’s bitter cold.  It’s hard to find a parking place at the gym.  And difficult not to step on someone in Zumba class.  (Not cause I’m uncoordinated which has happened.Whoops! But because there are so many people in there.

As far as my quilting ventures go I pieced a bunch of fabric from my bits bin.  Then cut out three tulips from my made fabric.

Finally I appliqued them and stems on a lovely gray background.  I have some great plans for this little piece.  I’ll share more on Friday.

But now it’s your turn.  What great things have you started this new year?

sounds like we go to the same gym LOL – no really why it is beginning of January it is so packed it is crazy and then all these people decide they don't need to exercise really and by February or so it is back to normal – I can barely get a bike to use last week or a treadmill and I'm walking the track in circles instead waiting for a machine to free up – but at least it is not cold here!! Love your tulips
