I’m having a hard time putting my scraps away. I have several pressing projects that I should be working on but still I play in my scraps. I’ve promised myself that soon I will start working on what really needs to get done but for the weekend any way I played in my scraps. I sewed up these little units.
I also worked on my pineapple blocks. They are mostly done, but I thought you might be tiring of seeing them. So I’ll wait until they are a flimsy. Instead here are the rail fence blocks I’m making from the little leftovers from the pineapple blocks. I’ve changed the blocks a little. I felt the others were too busy. I’m toying with layout but I’m thinking of starting with the lightest and filtering down to the darkest, maybe in a diagonal kind of way, somewhat as shown. But it is not set in stone.
Being Monday it’s time for you to share your progress. Looking forward to seeing how you are moving your projects forward. Link up and share. Can’t wait to see your progress.
Oh I do love your rail fence blocks with those blacks and grays stripes–very nice…(and I'm not sick of the pineapples at all–so lovely) hugs, Julierose
Why is it that sewing is always more fun that what we should be doing????
Love the rail fence concept!
Love the rail fence!
I see why you want to work on your scraps because they are so darn cute!
