I finished all my low volume made fabric pieces for they idea I had forming last week. I pulled out a rainbow of bright solids to go with them.
After cutting a bunch I started laying everything out on the design wall. This is what I have so far. I still have more low volume pieces. I just need to cut a few more of my bright solids.
That’s what I’ve been moving forward. Now it’s your turn to share your progress. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s developing in your sewing room. Link up and share.
I love the low volume fabrics with the bright solids–what a fabulous combination!
I've just been walking around thinking about what to do with all my scraps and what a lovely idea you have here….. although I don't think I have that many low volume fabric (not being English, I love the terms I learn from quilting 🙂
Delicious!
That's lovely!
How well the solid color fabrics play with the low volume sections.
Your quilt is so pretty; I love all the color 🙂
Your colors work well together. I am making a bricks quilt too, but took a rest to work on a couple of small quilts.
Like your use of low volume fabrics with the brights. NICE!
Looks great!
Oh, what an awesome idea! I have a scrappy box of solids that haven't thrilled me for months but now you've given me hope. Will dig out my box of low volumes & see what I come up with. Thanks for the inspiration!
That looks so good, what a great idea!
Oh I like what you are working on!
