Moving It Forward

Last week I dove into my random strips bin. I had made one of these blocks and thought we would make more during one of our Quilty Hug Sew Ins. But it just never happened. After seeing Sarah’s quarter log cabin blocks and all the fun she was having with them. I got busy making mine. Here is what I have so far. Thank you Sarah for the inspiration I needed.

In addition to block making I’ve also been busy making soap. We will be doing the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmer’s Market again this year. It officially kicked off on the ninth but I was teaching in Panguitch. And since I have not figured out how to clone myself yet we weren’t there for the kick off. We will be there this weekend though. If your in the area we’d love to have you stop by.

If not you can buy our all natural, skin loving soap in my Etsy Shop.

Now that I’ve shared what I’ve been moving forward it’s your turn. Link up and share your progress.

In a week I'm flying to SLC to visit a friend. She asked me what all I wanted to do and I told her visit farmers markets. I don't know if we'll get to the downtown one or not. What's the name of your stand so I can look for it if we do get there. I thought the quarter log cabin blocks look like a great project too. Maybe someday!
