Moving It Forward

Lots of little projects going on in my sewing room.  I’m trying to keep so semblance of order with all that is going on.  I thought I was doing a pretty good job until my hubby came down and said “This is a mess.”  I guess it’s all perspective.  I had a little fun making these little dresdens.  I have an idea forming in my head that I want to use them in.

My 100 blocks in 100 days with Gnome Angel are coming right along.  Here they are so far.

Finally to beat the heat.  It’s been in the 90’s here.  I made these wonky snowmen.  Now to embellish these frosty fellows.

In addition to all the sewing my favorite girl is leaving me for the next year and a half.  She will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She leaves Wednesday.  I’m excited for her.  I know she will do a wonderful job.  She is so loving and kind.  Just a little worried about how I will cope without her.

Love your pink Dresdens. Everyone knows creativity creates chaos before beauty! Lol! I'm sure you'll miss your daughter but know that she'll gain so much strength & character from her adventure. ((hugs))

;-( You are going to miss her, but I know she will be a blessing for others she meets over the time she is away.

Your Dresdans are so pretty, but I love those wonky snowmen.

I am super excited for your family to experience the wonderful things that come from having a missionary out! Where is she going? I miss having a missionary out, but grand babies fill the gap pretty good.
