Moving It Forward

As promised here is the progress on my pineapple blocks. I’ve only finished one more. With holiday travel I wasn’t able to finish any more. Just add a few more rounds so that they are a little closer to being done.

I was however able to finish these sock I’ve been knitting. I’m not really a knitter. In fact I’ve only knitted one other time over twenty years ago. It was a project we did with the young women at church. We all knitted a hat and then wore them sledding. Thanks to YouTube I refreshed my skills and learned a few more. Though my socks are not perfect, I’m pretty pleased. I see more socks in my future.

Now it’s your turn. Link up and show us what you’ve moved forward this week.

love your pineapple blocks – wish I could knit – I have accepted I can't and went back to crochet

Sock knitting is addictive…one little skein of yarn and a lot of knitting = 1 pair of socks. Except — wool socks are way too hot for me in Central Va. Well, sometimes we have some really cold weather and then they are wonderful. I hope you have lots of fun knitting more socks. Try some of the self-patterning yarn — it's fun to see how the colors make the pattern.

I love the colorful pineapple blocks. I bought the ruler a few months back but haven't used it yet. Looks to be a great way to incorporate all kinds of color.
