Piece and Love

I spent a lovely afternoon playing in my scraps. Oh, how I love spending time with my scraps. They always play so nice. I made me a bunch of nine patches and then a few string blocks.

I also found a little time for a fun photo shoot with my All Natural Patchouli Soap. Despite my best efforts I still get dandelions in my yard. To make the best of this not so great situation I picked a bunch and made a fun peace sign to go around my soap.

My hubby thinks I’m crazy, but since he calls me his hippy wife, I thought it fitting.

Your peace sign is perfect as are the blocks. Nothing wrong with being a hippy!

Hi Em, Lovely quilting and usage of your pretty scraps. Around here we are told not to kill dandelions anymore…they are the first food of the season for the bees. But I know it is hard to tolerate them in nice green lawns and your circle reminds me of how we made necklaces of them when I was a kid and the peace sign of my university days! Happy Stitching.

I Love it! I cant wait to get dandelions, its still all dead winter grass with a bit of green poking through here. I like the use of white in your blocks.
