Quilty Hugs & Hands 2 Help

Every year I am so thankful to Sarah and all her readers.  Through her Hand 2 Help program I am able donate hundreds of quilts to valiant cancer patients.

Soon beautiful quilts will start showing up on my doorstep.  Quilters are super heroes.  I know these quilts bring love, comfort and tons of hope to those who receive them.

I’ve created this button.  In case, you would like to add it to your blog.  Let people know that during this time of social distancing you are giving some pretty awesome hugs.

If money is tight feel free to save on postage and just give to a local hospital or infusion lab.  If in the Salt Lake City area, I’m happy to meet you to collect quilts.   Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Such a lovely star quilt! It's fun to see your sister's photos of you with your quilts. Thank you for the chance to donate locally. The postage is kind of killing me lately :-0 but I still want to participate with quilt giving.
A story of a recent quilt gift at our local infusion center. Our friend, Nick showed up to start treatment and they gifted him a quilt with novelty fabrics of airplanes, machine parts etc. They didn't know that his career had been working as a machinist on jets! He felt like the Lord was just giving him a small reminder that He was with him and knew him intimately. He was blessed!

I’m going to miss meeting up with you this year. DH has been hospitalized and had surgery. He’s at home now and doing great, but time has gotten away from me. I have sewn 50+ masks and lots of quilts for Quilts for Kids. Next year I can add a few quilts for Quilty Hugs and we can meet up again. Stay safe and healthy!
