I hope everyone is staying warm. We haven’t had a lot of snow. Just enough to give us a white Christmas. But I know some of you are getting blasted. This new quilt is to give you hope for spring. I call it Raised Beds.
It is a precut layer cake friendly pattern. Just one layer cake and a background and your set with this simple, beginner friendly quilt.
I quilted the background with pebbles to give cobblestone look around my flower beds. It took forever, but I’m so pleased with the results.
This quilt features Crystal Manning’s Painted Garden line by Moda. I love all the pretty, bright colors. They are perfect for fighting the winter blahs. Stay warm and enjoy those snow days, they make for great sewing days.
Very pretty! This one would be ideal for a patient quilt…I make quilts for patients at my hospital, and this one would be perfectly bright and cheery.
Oh that is too cute!! Heres to spring!
great quilt – looks just like raised beds
Yeah, there's nothing like a brights-with-white quilt to pick up your spirits in January!
I really like the white surround on these blocks–lovely quilt hugs, Julierose
so simple but so colorful and mod looking
Very cheerful! The white really sets off those colors!
Congrats! on your newly completed quilt.
