Scrap Busting at Bryce

I’m thrilled to be enjoying a little R & R at Bryce Winter Retreat.  While I am teaching three classes, I still have plenty of time to dive into my scraps.  Yea!  It’s one of my favorite things to do.  And all the prep I needed to do for my classes and running my business while I’m away I’ve not had nearly enough time for scrappy play.

I mixed business with please while making my Scrappy Spiderweb video.  And I can’t tell you how hard it has been to not drop all that I’ve needed to do to and dive into all those pretty strips.  I’m looking forward to making a whole stack of these blocks.

My Piece of Cake x and + blocks have also been calling.  I’ll have a hard time deciding which of these two projects I’ll work on first.  I hope to be able to share lots of progress when I get back.  It may take me a while to post since when I get back I’ll be watching my sister, Becky’s kids while she shoots a wedding in Hawaii.

Love the black stars framed with cheerful strips. I've been wanting to make a spiderweb quilt but couldn't decide about the star color. This may just push me in the right direction!
