Scrap Happy Summer 2013

Another summer has arrived and it’s time for another Scrap Happy Summer. (I’m a little slow getting it started.  I’ve been away enjoying the week with my sister, Lori, her daughter, Hannah, and my DD in California.  We had some wonderful girl time.  So wish she didn’t live so far away.)  With that said it’s time to kick off Scrap Happy Summer 2013.

Grab the button.  I’m having trouble having it display the code below.  Blogger keeps eliminating that part of the html when I paste it in.  Anyone else have this problem?  How did you fix it?  I’ve also started a Scrappy Happy Summer flickr page.  Come join me and show off all your scrappy creations this summer.  Along with ideas of what to do with your scraps I’m planning on a few guest bloggers to share their insight; on how they keep the scrap bin in order, under control (heaven knows those scraps multiply like bunnies) and a few of their scrappy creations.   Summer is busy and we may only find little bits of time but those little bits paired up with scraps of fabric can make some great things.  After all out of small and simple things proceedeth that which is great.   Remember to stop by each Wednesday all summer and to share on theflickr your own scrappy creations.

Super. Haven't quilted for awhile but this might kick start me. Love any info on how to organize scraps as well. Seems if I cut everything up I am limited as to projects.

I joined in a couple of years ago and loved it! So I'll be scrapping along with you. So much fun!

I love using scraps for my quilting. Have just posted a 12 x 12 I made a couple of months ago from scraps. We are in the middle of our winter here but my first piece is nice and summery.
