After seeing the great background fabric Sarah used for her table runners, ideas started churning in my head. I’ve been wanting to do a matched set of sewing accessories; journal, pin cushion, zipper pouch, needle case, etc. So after inquiring where Sarah got said background fabric. I made a purchase and started cutting solid strips to go with it.
I was hoping to show you a set but I got some kind of nasty bug and spent a day on the couch with Netflix. Fortunately the bug was short lived and yesterday I was able to make this little journal cover for a composition book with graph paper in. I found a few at Walmart and stocked up. I like to use them to sketch out blocks and quilt ideas.
Hoping to get a few more of my sewing accessories made today. I’ll share my collection when I get them done.
