My Stars and Kites string quilt is now a flimsy. You can find a tutorial for this quilt here. What I like about this quilt are the scrappy blue, green and purple kites.
I’m also pretty pleased with the continuation of the kite shape in the scrappy border. I’m not sure that I love all how much yellow there is. I feel it’s kind of over powering.
If I were to do it again I think I would maybe tone down the yellow and make the points in the stars more narrow. Live and learn I guess. It’s still a nice quilt. And I do love how it looks floating on the breeze.

As as the maxim goes, the devil is in the details… And that couldn’t be much more accurate right here. Having said that, allow me reveal to you exactly what did give good results. The text is highly persuasive and this is probably the reason why I am taking the effort in order to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, although I can easily see a leaps in logic you make, I am definitely not convinced of exactly how you appear to unite the details which inturn make the final result. For now I will, no doubt subscribe to your position but wish in the future you link your facts better.
