As mentioned in the previous post I have a random strips bin. This bin contains all my strips that don’t go in my other two strip bins. It has leftovers from trimming quilts, ends of strips used in other quilts, and just odd bits that are long and skinny. My scrappy log cabin.
Beaded Curtain
Kaleidoscope
And Yarn Bomb Trees all came from it’s contents.
I also have a bin that contains 1 1/2″ strips. Scrappy Pineapple
And Citrus Spin came from that bin.
The final strips bin I have is for left over jelly roll strips. I will do a post later about how to use up left over pre-cuts. For now I’ll share these 2 1/2″ strip friendly quilts from my jelly roll bin. First a simple coin quilt.
NextPharaoh’s Pyramids.
Hope this gives you a few ideas on how to make a dent in your strip bins.
