I apologize for the week long bloggy break. Last Monday I received news that my grandma was not doing well. My dad told me that hospice had been called in and that she could go any time. This was such a shock. It had been less than a week since my last visit where we shared a chocolate mousse.
Needless to say a lot of things got put on the back burner. I spent Tuesday with her and feel blessed that at one point she did wake up, recognize me, and tell me she loved me. By Thursday she had left to be with grandpa once again.
I sure will miss this great lady. I’m thankful for all the happy memories I have with her. She truly was an amazing lady.
So sorry to hear. Love does hurt sometimes, but how rich our lives are by such wonderful people, may every memory of her bring you joy, blessings to you.
So sad to hear of your grandma’s passing. Sending you hugs.
