Now that is not like reverse sewing, otherwise known as unpicking. This method is fun to use if you would like your shapes to be pieced or multi colored with out having to deal with seams. Like this fun autumn leaf quilt.
Where I just made several nine patches in various fall colors. Then sewed them together and did the reverse applique to allow my leaves to change colors.
I’ve recently been playing with this technique with my made fabric. I’m having way to much fun! I see so many great possibilities.
