First up, after sharing a trick on pulling fabric for your next scrap quilt. With the fabric already pulled it was easy to make a quilt. Just run it through the Go cutter and the 2″ finished strip die. The Go cutter makes cutting out a quilt super easy. I use it all the time to get my scraps into usable pieces. For someone who hates cutting it’s a must have! Here is the bin of cut up fabric with a single block made. In a few hours of happy sewing, the bin scrappy pieces became this quilt.
This next quilt also came from the scrap bins. First, various blue and gray scraps were pulled for a background. Why use one fabric when you can use many? A scrappy background just makes my heart sing. Second yellows, reds, and greens were gathered to create the plus blocks. Just a little something to give the quilt a little POP! Finally combine it all together for a great man quilt. If your looking for more masculine quilts to create? Check out these great man quilt patterns.
