I also have a draw near my sewing machine with pencils, paper, finger nail file and other useful items I may not being using as readily as my scissors and seam ripper but are still nice to have on hand. These drawer organizers to keep everything tidy and easy to find.
I like to keep my scraps near by. You never know when you may need a little piece of something to add to your project. So I keep them under my ironing station. Learn how to make your own ironing station with storage.
My rulers I keep under my cutting station in a cool rack my dad made for me. You can find a similar one here. I use long under the bed see through bins to store my yardage. Each bin holds a color. I’m able to slide them into shelves that go under my stairs. Making that space usable and my fabric easy to find. Learn more about my fabric storage method in this post.
